Your sales team isn't hitting the targets.

You have experienced, capable people.
You train, coach and support them. You give them the methodology, and resources they need. But when it counts, they don't consistently perform at the level you know they're capable of.

I work with your salespeople on the behaviours that get in the way of their performance, so they overcome setbacks faster, maintain composure and focus in difficult conversations, and diagnose the customer's problem instead of pitching features, without changing the sales methodology your team already uses. So they can consistently deliver at their full potential.

When sales knowledge isn't the real roadblock

Want your team performing at its best?

The Gap

They have gotten sales training.
They have done role play and coaching.
They get your support and feedback.
They have a clear methodology to follow.
They have the tools and analytics.

But still, you’re seeing the same behaviours over and over again:

They still talk too much.
They still miss buyer’s signals.
They still pitch features instead of diagnosing the problem.
They still become too eager too close.
They still struggle with difficult buyers.
They still perform inconsistently.

The result: Missed opportunities and lost deals.

So what is actually missing?

Sales training, coaching, role play, even sales enablement are all very valuable, but they solve a different problem.

The gap lies in how well they can access and apply what they already know when the stakes are high.

In short, performance isn't purely cognitive. It is also influenced by the physiological state someone is in, and by how they communicate, adapt and act in the moment.

But this “human side of performance” is often underestimated.

WHAT I ACTUALLY WORK ON

I work with your salespeople on the behaviours that affect their performance before, during and after the sales conversation.

That means working on how they:

  • think and talk to themselves when things go wrong

  • recover quickly after setbacks

  • communicate and listen when the conversation becomes difficult

  • read the room and recognise what is actually happening

  • adapt their behaviour to different people and situations

  • stay composed and effective when the stakes are high

  • recognise and change the patterns that sabotage their performance

All these behaviours have something in common.

They tend to show up when something in the environment changes: the stakes are high, a buyer pushes back, a deal goes sideways, a salesperson gets challenged, or a setback hits.

In those moments, the mind and body respond. And that response changes how someone communicates, listens, reads the room, adapts and responds.

That's why I work on the mind AND the body, because they strongly influence how your salespeople behave and perform.

I do this through four main areas:

▪️ Presence
Showing up with confidence, composure and credibility.

▪️ Perception
Reading the room, recognising buyer signals and understanding what is actually happening in the interaction.

▪️ Adaptability
Adjusting communication, behaviour and approach according to the person and situation.

▪️ Regulation
Managing physiological and emotional responses so effective behaviour remains available when the stakes rise.

HOW WE MAKE THE CHANGE

Change doesn't happen through more knowledge. It happens through knowledge paired with repeated action.

Therefore, this training isn’t another knowledge dump, pat on the shoulder and then wishing you ‘good luck’.

This training shares the relevant knowledge, tools and techniques, but it’s main focus is on practicing it. All of the team and individual touchpoints are spread out over time, so they can practise what they're learning alongside their actual sales work.

They get feedback.
They repeat.
They can ask questions when they have doubts.
They work through what happened in real sales situations and adjust.

THE PERFORMANCE Cycle

They practise what they're working on. They observe what happens. They get feedback, adjust, grow, and practise again.

That's how the work moves from knowing to doing.

WHAT CHANGES

Ultimately, your goal is that your salespeople close more deals to hit their numbers more consistently.

For that, we work on the behaviours that influence the performance that gets them there.

As those behaviours become more consistent, you’ll see:

  • More consistent execution

  • Better composure

  • Stronger listening and awareness

  • Greater adaptability

  • Faster recovery from setbacks

  • More ownership

  • Better performance in challenging situations

WHY ME

Most of my life, I lived by "mind over matter" and "where there's a will, there's a way," plowing through to the result. But while our brains are fascinating things, I too often forgot that my head has a whole body attached to it.

Pursuing goals with a 'mind first' approach has clear limitations. And I hit a lot of them along the way: struggling to 'stay calm' when things got difficult, not being able to be 'at my best' when I knew I could, and struggling to recover from setbacks without carrying them into the next day. I pushed myself hard for so long that eventually my body forced me to stop. More than once.

And that's when I understood: I wasn't really a "high performer." I was a "push-througher," because I had never included the body in the equation.

That led me deeper into mind and body training, bringing together my psychology and neuroscience knowledge with what I had learned through combat sport training.

Once I started working WITH the body alongside the mind, the pattern vanished. I still have hard days and difficult conversations; I just don't lose my ability to think in them, and I don't carry a bad one into the next day. My body hasn't stopped me since.

Reliable high performance is a partnership between the mind and the body, because the mind holds all our knowledge, but our body holds the power over when that knowledge is accessible to us.

Why this coaching

As a former Head of People and management team member in a fully remote tech company spanning 40+ countries, I worked across leadership, team dynamics, and culture at scale. I saw how these forces interact and how quickly they go sideways when one is neglected. Running my own business for over a decade taught me the rest. Staying healthy, sharp, and performing at a high level isn't something that happens by accident. The high performance angle is grounded in current neuroscience and performance research, as well as in what I have tested and practiced myself for many years.

Over the years, I experienced how leadership, high performance, and team and culture are deeply connected and make-or-break for any business. If you focus on just one, the other two will go neglected, and things still will break. That's why I built ‘The Confident Founder’ upon these three pillars.
