Your company and people should be aligned through purposeful values, career development, and shared goals. In other words: Work should be an integrated and exciting part of life, not just a paycheck. 

Do you agree that companies that just offer work most likely only find people looking for monetary recompensation? I thought so. On the other hand, if you provide an enticing company culture and an abundant employee experience by sharing values, strong bonds, and appreciation and offering ongoing training and development, you'll find people that are in with their heart and soul.

That's what you want. But there is one thing we HAVE to do first: Re-humanize work. I know business is serious: ARR and on-target earnings, stakeholder satisfaction, performance increase, KPIs, and the competition are real. But so are your employees. They are breathing and living human beings with feelings, dreams, fears, opinions, and real-life responsibilities. Don't convert them into a performance report or a three-month target. ENGAGE. We must learn to listen and interact in meaningful and constructive ways again.
