Workshop – The Construction of the Artist – Part I

[R.A.T.] - Puerto Acapulco – Acapulco/Mexico - June 2015

A workshop in Acapulco to facilitate the construction of a unique artistic career

This workshop was dedicated to all the Mexican artists who want to work successfully in the art world. “The construction of the Artist – Part I” covered all the practical tools to show the artists how to be their own manager and to give them the tools to develop their very own artistic strategy.

The construction of an artist is equal to the construction of a unique career, so we shared helpful theory and indispensable practices. Through this, the artists learned how to organize themselves, focus, communicate and present their art and projects in a way that made them stand out from the crowd.

The four days in Acapulco/Mexico were thematically connected and consisted of exercises, short videos, and illustrative material that made each session unique and entertaining.

An advanced self-management workshop was also held a couple of months later, so those artists who needed help to implement the theory from the first workshop could get more practice in terms of achieving a prosperous artistic career.
